#49  Livermore Post 47 American Legion and the Branch 287 Fleet Reserve Association
Here we have Livermore Post 47 American Legion and Branch 287 Fleet Reserve Association
The American Legion is a congressionally chartered patriotic veteran’s organization, in existence since 1919. It is committed to mentoring and sponsoring youth programs in the community, advocating honor and patriotism, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to fellow service members and veterans.
Livermore Post 47 is one of the oldest in California. They meet at the Veterans Memorial Building at 5th and L Streets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month. Right behind them is the Fleet Reserve Association. This is a congressionally chartered veteran’s organization that represents the interests of the Sea Service community before the U.S. Congress. Its membership is comprised of current and former enlisted members of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
Livermore Branch 287 was formed in 1967 and meets the 1st Friday of each month at the Veterans Memorial Building.
Veterans who enjoy fellowship and have a desire to support the military community and fellow veterans are encouraged to join us.

#50  U.S. Naval Sea Cadets, Rear Admiral C.W. Parks Battalion
Here we have the Rear Admiral C. W. Parks Battalion of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets.
The Corp's mission is to expose our cadets, ages 11-17, to the full rigors of a military training program. It teaches them patriotism, courage, and self-reliance, to prepare them for whatever path they take after high school.
The program exposes the cadets to the prestige of public service and to a variety of career paths, through hands on training with our nation's armed services.

#51  US Military Armed Forces
Members of the U.S. Military are represented by the four branches of service, all of whom are Active Duty Personnel.
Leading is the Marine Corps Color Guard from the Recruiting Substation on Danville.
Second is the Air Force from the Recruiting Stations of Livermore and Brentwood.
Third and Fourth are, the Navy Recruiting Station, and Army Recruiting Station both from Livermore.
Those on motorcycles are a veteran military escort team.
All volunteer veterans and patriots escort our veterans and their families for Welcome Homes and Fallen Heroes.
The Military wishes to thank the Rotary Club of Livermore for asking for their participation in the parade and for honoring our Veterans here today.
And we thank them for their service!
