#254 - Tequila's Taqueria
3rd Place -

A big welcome for the entry from Tequilas Taqueria, home for what they say is the best Mexican food in Livermore! Located at 160 S. Livermore Ave., they have the best prices, great homemade food and great music. They also love their horses. Come visit them in downtown Livermore. Jose Solorzano, owner, and his family are in the parade on their Mexican Dancing Horses.

Our next entry is from The Livermore/Amador Valley Transit Authority, "WHEELS". Their entry is introducing their new "Rapid Service" 40 foot Diesel-Electric Hybrid Bus for public transportation.

#256 - Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Engine

And now we have some genuine local heroes, members of the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department driving one of their Engines. They put it all on the line for us, Please give them a big hand and thanks!

#257 - Good News Bears

This group is the Good News Bears, a Livermore non-profit group that has provided stuffed animals to those in need since 1996. Community Caring Through Teddy Bearing is their slogan. Stuffed animals are distributed to those in need from trauma, illness, loss or loneliness. Over 60 service agencies are stocked by Good News Bears volunteers. Since its inception, they have distributed over 80,000 stuffed animals. You can be an angel Bear too, by donating like-new and new stuffed animals. Go to www.goodnewsbears.org for more info.
