The rodeo parade is on Saturday morning of "Rodeo Weekend",
which is the second weekend of June. It is held on 2nd Street. These
pictures are from June 12, 2010.

![]() #103 - Alameda County Sheriff's Mounted Posse Established in 1941, they are an all volunteer organization led by Capt. Art Helwig. Under the direction of Sheriff Ahern, this group participates in many CSHA parades and provide horse patrols and the Oakland Raiders games and Alameda County Fair. Their animals are specially trained for these functions. First Place, Mounted Group, Senior (see awards section)

![]() #106 - Livermore Rodeo Queen 2010 - Bailey Castello Bailey is 19 years old and grew up here in Livermore. She now lives in Modesto. She believes being the 2010 Livermore Rodeo Queen is an honor of a lifetime. She is excited to travel throughout California representing the Livermore Rodeo.

![]() #107 - Miss 2010 Livermore Junior Rodeo Queen - Casey J. Meade She and her horse "Wrangler" are looking forward to the 51st annual Livermore Junior Rodeo. This year the Livermore Junior Rodeo is on June 19th. Casey hopes you all can attend and she says she will be sure to wave at all of you in the stands. ![]() #108 - 1923 Doane Truck Don Podesta, The Livermore Stockman's Rodeo Association President for 2010. Don has brought us his 1923 DOANE, chain driven truck. The truck was built in San Francisco and was used to haul freight from the docks. The truck was used until 1962 and is one of only twelve known to still exist from the DOANE Company. Second Place, Antique Vehicles. (see awards section)

![]() #109 - Livermore Rodeo Association Stage Coaches These stage coaches belong to the Livermore Rodeo Association and have participated in the Rodeo Parade for many years, almost from the beginning. The Rodeo started in 1918 as a fundraiser to contribute to the Red Cross while World War- 1 was still raging in Europe. Many of the Rodeo's original founding families are still involved today. Riding in the larger stagecoach today are the winners of the downtown business Western Window Decorating Contest, Simply Fondue. Please drop in to try their wares!
