Stephen Waarts, violin - Del Valle Fine Arts
In 2016, when this then 20-year-old violinist performed for us, he displayed astounding musicality and technical mastery. Stephen Waarts’ innate and poetic musical voice has established him as a firm favorite with audiences. With an unusually broad and voracious appetite for repertoire, he has already performed more than 30 standard violin concertos as well as rarely performed works.

Stephen has performed with top European and American orchestras and appeared regularly as a recitalist and in chamber ensembles. Recent honors include the Classical Music Orchestra Award from the Lucerne Symphony and an Avery Fisher Career Grant.

Niles Canyon Railway Train of Lights.
Experience the magic of our brightly decorated holiday train, covered with thousands of lights, as it winds through the darkness of Niles Canyon on a 75-minute round-trip ride from Niles to Sunol and back, and the later train from Sunol to Niles and back.
This annual fundraising event is presented by the Pacific Locomotive Association to benefit Niles Canyon Railway projects throughout the year. We are sincerely grateful for all of our supporters who help our non-profit, tax-exempt, living history museum continue to operate and grow.
Trains run both from Sunol to Niles and back, and from Niles to Sunol and back.

The Livermore History Center contains a variety is displays of Livermore's history as well as historical photos and other information.
Knowledgeable docents can answer your questions and provide you with information about Livermore's past.

Third Sunday Duarte Garage Open
Built in 1915, along the newly dedicated Lincoln Highway, the garage served as a gas station, service station, and a car dealership (in the south portion, added in 1923).
The garage was restored by the Livermore Heritage Guild, and provides a number of historical displays.
The restored LHG fire trucks (as seen in the Rodeo Parade each year) are housed there.
A number of events are hosted there each year including the LHG Annual General Meeting.

Last Sunday Hagemann Ranch Open
Today’s Hagemann Ranch is the last 4.5 acres of continuously operated ranch land from the original rancho el Valle de San José, a Mexican land grant applied for in 1835 by the children of José Joaquin Bernal. The original Rancho consisted of 48,000 acres encompassing much of present day Sunol, Pleasanton and the northwest section of Livermore.
A variety of equipment and vehicles are on display in the historic buildings.
