"Guitarist Julian Lage is a rising star on the contemporary jazz scene, his
guitar virtuosity and talent as a composer is broadly admired by both fellow
musicians and fans alike. A Santa Rosa native, Lage appeared as an
up-and-coming talent on the Grammy Awards telecast at the age of 12 and was
performing with such legends as Carlos Santana, Pat Metheny and David
Grisman not long after. His diverse musical interests, from classical, folk
and bluegrass, to Latin and modern jazz, all find their way into his complex

Archetti Baroque String Ensemble - Del Valle Fine Arts
Archetti—which means “bow” in Italian—will be treating concertgoers to a
program entitled “Masters of the Italian Concerto.” This eight-person
baroque ensemble was formed in 2009 from the leading performers of early
music in the Bay Area. The collective experience and artistry of Archetti’s
members has allowed them to develop dynamic, historically-informed
interpretations. In the best tradition of small baroque chamber orchestras,
