LVPAC's Fall Gala for 2008.
Masters of timing and practitioners of timeless comedy, the Smothers Brothers legendary career surpasses all other comedy teams. LVPAC is thrilled to present them and their unique take on the American political landscape in this landmark presidential election year. A primetime comedy series, guest appearances on numerous television programs, and headliners in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe, comprise just a few of their well-deserved claims to fame. Tom and Dick have had twelve top-selling albums, a successful video and continuous coast-to-coast concert tours and performances with symphony orchestras. Come spend a fun-filled Fall afternoon with friends enjoying live music, dancing, food, and of course, beverages derived from "hops" and picked from the "vine"! ADMISSION IS FREE!
Sit back and relax or brush off your dancing shoes 'cause local favorite Word of Mouth will be "in the house" or in our case, "in the parking lot" to entertain you with the sounds of great dance and top 40's songs.
We'll be pouring a variety of beers, including microbrews and wines from the neighboring Livermore Valley on Sunday, October 5, from 1 – 5 pm.
The event will take place in the parking lot behind the Cheese Factory building at 830 Main Street.
Cabana Dave and his yummy barbeque will be on hand along with other tasty treats. We will also have a selection of art and craft vendors on hand so you can sip and shop as you enjoy the afternoon and the music.
If you bring in receipts from shopping or dining in downtown Pleasanton dated October from 1st through the 5th totaling $25 or more, you’ll have the opportunity to win great prizes throughout the afternoon.
