The Smothers Brothers LVPAC's Fall Gala for 2008. Masters of timing and practitioners of timeless comedy, the Smothers Brothers legendary career surpasses all other comedy teams. The event is sponsored by the Pleasanton Downtown Association and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before you know it! Get ahead of the game and leisurely stroll through downtown and visit the many unique shops. Take advantage of the great sales both inside and out! Merchants will have special sale tables outside and run promotions over the weekend. Hops & Vine Fall Fest Come spend a fun-filled Fall afternoon with friends enjoying live music, dancing, food, and of course, beverages derived from "hops" and picked from the "vine"! ADMISSION IS FREE! Sit back and relax or brush off your dancing shoes 'cause local favorite Word of Mouth will be "in the house" or in our case, "in the parking lot" to entertain you with the sounds of great dance and top 40's songs. We'll be pouring a variety of beers, including microbrews and wines from the neighboring Livermore Valley on Sunday, October 5, from 1 – 5 pm. The event will take place in the parking lot behind the Cheese Factory building at 830 Main Street. Cabana Dave and his yummy barbeque will be on hand along with other tasty treats. We will also have a selection of art and craft vendors on hand so you can sip and shop as you enjoy the afternoon and the music.
