Livermore Old Fashioned Fourth of July
Live music, family games, food, aerial fireworks show synchronized to music
There'll be continuous live entertainment from 5 p.m. until closing, games such as tug-of-war and the ever-popular water balloon toss, two giant inflated toys (a slide and carousel) for the kids, lots and lots of mouth watering foods and beverages, including LARPD's secret recipe smoked country ribs, and, of course, a $20,000 aerial fireworks show to oooooh and aaaaah the crowds snuggled on to the grassy fields of Robertson Park.
No cans, bottles, barbeques or alcoholic beverages may be brought in.
Location:
Robertson Park.  Enter from Arroyo Road or Concannon Blvd.
Times:  Gates open at 4:00pm  Vehicle gates close at 9:00 PM for the fireworks.
    Stage entertainment starts at 5:00pm
    Fireworks around 9:30
Admission: $10 per car load, or $3 per walk/bike-in

Art Under the Oaks
Held in conjunction with The Livermore Art Association, over 50 artists will be demonstrating and displaying their work. Local wineries will be pouring tastes of area vintages. The ever popular fruit tasting will also be held, taste all the new varieties and then order the fruit tree of your dreams. Music fills the oak covered grounds, as the local favorites Stony Ridge Ramblers play Dixieland jazz, and Pleasanton Community Concert fills the air with big band numbers! There is an art in motion area for kids, and Harvey Bumble "our little folks gardener" makes special appearances. Face painting for the kids is available. Bring the whole family, this is an event you don't want to miss!

This 1/3 acre native plant park is dedicated to the students of Granada High School and to the public and is sponsored by Friends of the Arroyos Events include:

  • plant walk by Alrie Middlebrook (native landscape designer)
  • critter catching and observing by Patti Cole (LARPD ranger)
  • water use information by Zone 7
  • sales of “Eating California”- a California native plant cookbook
