Photos were taken from 8:09am to 9:21am.
I started taking photos near the time of the first riders, but there were some who came by before that.
It was pretty windy the entire time.  Several times I would hear riders say something like "Finally we are going with the wind" after making the turn.
I stopped as the wind and rain were really picking up, and the number riders were winding down, although I sure there still quite a few who rode by later.
For the last 30 minutes or so I was holding an umbrella virtually sideways with one hand (trying to keep the camera dry) and taking photos with the other hand.

8:09am through 8:19am

Early on the morning sun was shining, but clouds were coming in from the west.
The Ruby Hill Winery / Casa Real provided an excellent backdrop.
