#16  Rodeo's Hoosegow (old jail)
Here's our historic hoosegow! A hoosegow is a portable jail, driven around town to pick up trouble-makers. Our Livermore Police Department hasn't used that for a while.

Driving the truck today are Adam Wright and Tyler Minser

The Livermore Rodeo Foundation Directors with the SPURS group of young adults. These 16-24- year-olds represent “Students Promoting the Understanding of Rodeo Success”. They help keep the tradition of Livermore's western heritage alive. The driver is Chris Waller.

#19  Jessica Powell-Falconer-2018 Miss Rowell Ranch Jr Rodeo Queen
Presenting the Miss Rowell Ranch Jr. Rodeo Queen, Jessica Powell-Falconer. She's a 16 year old cowgirl from here in Livermore.
Jessica is riding her Mustang, "Spinner". She invites everyone to come to the 56th annual Rowell Ranch Jr. Rodeo in August.

 

 
   
#21  Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls
The Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls is an organization dedicated to enriching and enlightening the lives of young women through horsemanship and western performance.

Since 1976 this group has performed in 20 countries on five continents to promote professional rodeo and ranching lifestyles. A very proud day was when they performed at Windsor Castle in England for Queen Elizabeth at her Diamond Jubilee Pageant in 2012. #22  Livermore Chamber of Commerce
Here comes the Livermore Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, aboard the Livermore Wine Trolley. Chamber CEO Dawn Argula and Chairman Steve Larranaga extend congratulations and best wishes to the Livermore Rodeo on its 100th Annual Rodeo! The Chamber looks forward to many more years of partnership with the Rodeo and with the Livermore Stockmen's Association.

 

 

 

 
   
#23  Mendenhall Middle School Mustang Marching Band
The Mendenhall Middle School Marching Band is proud to represent Mendenhall Middle School and the Mendenhall community in the Rodeo Parade celebrating the 100th Annual Livermore Rodeo. Under the direction of Ms. Jo Anne Fosselman, with drum major Ally Lagodzinski, this 70-member marching unit will perform "Cheyenne."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
   
#24  Rotary Club of Livermore President Sam Steele
Here's our current Rotary president, Sam Steele! Sam has lived in Livermore for almost 60 years and has enjoyed coming to the parade and the rodeo since the days when the rodeo grounds were on Livermore Avenue, where the current Police Station is now located. Last year he retired from teaching at Del Valle High School. He has been a member of Rotary for about 35 years and the parade is one of his favorite events - he has been to every parade since 1983! He was even co-chair of the parade for 5 years. Riding with Sam is Debbie, his lovely wife of 45 years.

 

 

 

 

 

 
   
#25  Rotary Foundation of Livermore
2nd Place -
Classic & Custom Vehicles

Following our Rotary president is Charles Crohare, president of the Rotarian Foundation of Livermore. This organization was established in 1987 by Livermore's two Rotary clubs to support Livermore youth programs. Since its inception the group has awarded over $1,200,000 in grants.
The 1929 Ford Model A Street Rod is driven by its proud owner, Marty Plone, who is the founder of the Rotarian Foundation.
The car has a 2.8 liter Chevy V-6 engine and a 5-speed Chevy transmission and rear end.
