179 - Mosaic Lodge No. 218 Free Masons of California Mosaic Lodge No. 218 Free & Accepted Masons of California is a fraternal men's organization. It is the oldest Masonic Lodge in the Tri-Valley area, having been formed in 1872. Robert D. Hall is the current Master of the Lodge. Marching along with the Master in Masonic regalia are members of the lodge and also members of the International Rainbow for Girls, Assembly No. 246, a youth group which is sponsored by the lodge. |

180 - Hindu Community and Cultural Center The Hindu Community & Cultural Center in Springtown has been part of our community since 1977. The Center conducts free health fairs, free yoga classes, a health advisory clinic, senior support groups and more. They also offer scholarships to local high school students, organize a spelling bee, an art work shop, and work with Rotary to distribute dictionaries to all 3rd graders in Livermore public schools. They have a Hindu temple on the campus and host many music and dance performances. Everyone is welcome to these events. The folks at the Hindu Cultural Center believe in serving God through serving humanity. |

181 - Peninsula Building Materials Co./American Cancer Society, Relay for Life Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature event where participants walk for 24 hours to raise funds and awareness about programs to support cancer patients and find a cure. Relay For Life of Livermore has been walking for 15 years and raised over $2 million dollar. Join us at Livermore High School on June 25th beginning at 9:00am. There will be food, entertainment and raffles through the day. Sponsoring Relay for Life's float is Peninsula Building Materials. 183 - Livermore Valley Tennis Club Livermore Valley Tennis Club has been owned and operated by Roy Rasmussen and Kim Fuller since 1983. The club has 3 pools, 2 spas, 11 tennis courts, basketball, pilates, group exercise, racquetball, pickle-ball, yoga, and more. There is a wide variety of activities for kids of all ages. This 1982 Rolls Royce is one of Roy’s cars, being driven by Andy Halvorsen Andy grew up being a member at the club and even worked there as a young man. Now a father of four, he and his family enjoy a variety of activities at the club from kid-fit to karate! LVTC is located at the corner of Arroyo Road and Concannon Blvd. Stop by to see it in person! |

185 - Livermore Lions Club The Livermore Lions Club was established in 1924. Lions are members of the largest community service organization in the world, with 1.4 million members in 210 countries. In 1925 Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become "Knights of the Blind." Since then, Lions have worked tirelessly to aid the blind and visually impaired, and have raised nearly $350 million for this purpose. Livermore Lions raises money for Canine Companions, Granada High School Cheer Team, Rancho Las Positas music program, and many other local organizations. 187 - 1952 Dodge B-3 B Panel Truck named "Spot" Jim Arnold is driving this 1952 Dodge B-3 B panel truck, named "Spot". His lovely bride of 36 years, Resa, and son Jacob are on board for the fun. Jim bought this truck up near Redding in 1971 for a Shasta College auto shop project. The truck is powered by the original reliable Flat Head 6, 231 CID, that delivers a whopping 95 horse power. Jim and Resa have had many great road trips in this truck over the years. The truck has gone as far north as Fairbanks Alaska and as far south as Mazatlan, Mexico. The Arnolds recently had the truck repainted and the interior completely redone. Now it's ready for another 45 years. Keep on Trucking! |

187A - Inderbitzen Ranch Home of Basso's Arena in Livermore CA This next entry is from Inderbitzen Ranch Home of Basso's Arena in Livermore Eddie Inderbitzen is driving his 1951 Ford pickup followed by Sandy Inderbitzen and Michelle Edwards with their orphaned bottle fed 6 month old Corriente Calf "Norman". Charlie and Sandy decided to keep the calf on the ranch as a mascot because of his kindness. The calf has participated in Livermore High Partners, the Rowell Ranch Rodeo, and will be participating with the Livermore Rodeo's "Little Partners" this Sunday. |

188 - 1946 Chevy Truck 2nd Place - Antique Vehicles Please Welcome Jay Brown and his1946 2-ton Chevy truck. This truck was built in Oakland, and spent its entire life working in Livermore and Sunol. Under the hood is a 1955 six cylinder engine with lots of early 1950s vintage hot rod parts. It's capable of hauling 5 tons, but spends most of its days just running daily errands around the bay area. It is currently hauling a 1946 Ford flathead industrial engine, which was used by Shell Oil in Richmond California. This engine was pinstriped by Livermore's own Herb Martinez. |
