The rodeo parade is on Saturday morning of "Rodeo Weekend",
which is the second weekend of June. It is held on 2nd Street. These
pictures are from June 12, 2010.

The Fire Service program is a complete vocational training program that "Trains Tomorrows Heroes Today". This Livermore based program has been training professional career and volunteer firefighters in the tri-valley for the past thirty years. Hundreds of Las Positas Fire Service graduates are serving our nation in communities across America. Behind the color guard are the 50 members of the 16th Las Positas College Wild land Firefighter 1 Basic Academy. This program provides students with direct career opportunities Federal, State and Local, seasonal and full-time wild land firefighters. They are followed by an 85 foot Ladder Tower Fire Truck and students dressed in full structure firefighting gear. They also brought their 1,000 gallon per-minute pumper truck, and light Rescue-Ambulance. The LPC Emergency Medical Technician training program is ranked as one of the strongest programs in California. The students are grateful for the opportunity to be in today's parade. |

The Christensen Middle School Cougar Marching
Band under the musical direction of Mike Divita. This is the 12th straight
year the Christensen Middle School Band has marched in the Livermore Rodeo
Parade. Located in Springtown, the Cougar Marching Band has 40 students
marching today. Under the leadership of Drum Major Niharika Singh, the band
will perform "Valley Forge March", by John Edmondson. GO COUGARS! |
