The rodeo parade is on Saturday morning of "Rodeo Weekend",
which is the second weekend of June. It is held on 2nd Street. These
pictures are from June 12, 2010.

Walking today for the Livermore Heritage Guild is David "Stilts" Volponi. David
is a Livermore native who now resides in Groveland Ca. David started stilt
walking as a boy in 1972 and has traveled with the Cullpepper and Merriweather
Circus for the past 23 years. He has appeared in over 1300 towns with the circus
and now made it back to his hometown to honor his family's history in Livermore
since 1890.

The Livermore Future Farmers Of America and local 4-H clubs invite you to attend
the Alameda County junior Livestock Auction on Sunday, July 11 at the Alameda
County Fairground in Pleasanton. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. These amazing
kids are the future of agriculture and have worked hard all year long raising
pigs, steers, sheep and goats. You will hear the "Auctioneer's Chant" and can
participate in the excitement of a real old-fashioned auction by purchasing

![]() #148 - Sybil Ludington Society, Car (Children of the American Revolution) Welcome the Sybil Ludington Society Members who support our military troops through "United Through Reading Books From The Battlefield". With them today are dogs from the Valley Humane Society who hold various military ranks of "Petting Officers" and are used in service at the Livermore Veterans Facility. The dogs and handlers here today are honoring Veteran Harold Schwartz, who recently passed away. |

The Cactus Corners Youth Square Dancers presents a slice of history with a look at music of the fifties. This club has been offering dance instruction to youth from throughout the Bay Area for twenty years and meets weekly here in Livermore. Dancers range in age from 8-18 and are Alameda County 4-H members. |
