Shadow Cliffs Park

Shadow Cliffs park is a popular park along Stanley Blvd between Pleasanton and Livermore.  The lake is a former Kaiser Industries gravel pit, providing swimming, boating, and fishing.  The park also includes a water slide.
East Bay Regional Parks District site.

A couple of pictures from near the entrance, looking south at the recreation area.  The two pictures overlap somewhat.

Looking north, back up toward Stanley Blvd.  The railroad cars are on the far side of Stanley.

Also a favorite hangout for geese.

Looking east toward the gravel plant.
