Heidi Chronicles - Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre
The Heidi Chronicles is comprised of a series of interrelated scenes, the play traces the coming of age of Heidi Holland, a successful art historian, as she tries to find her bearings in a rapidly changing world. Gradually distancing herself from her friends, she watches them move from the idealism and political radicalism of their college years through militant feminism and, eventually, back to the materialism that they had sought to reject in the first place. Heidi comes to accept the fact that liberation can be achieved only if one is true to oneself.

Second Annual Paint the Town
The Second Annual Paint the Town will take place at the Museum on Main, 603 Main Street, Pleasanton on Saturday, June 5. There is no admission fee. It is a day for artists of every media to come together to paint to paint the sights of Pleasanton, support the museum and enjoy the camaraderie of other artists. Artists arrive at the Museum at 9 a.m. to check in before heading out to a location in Pleasanton of their choice to paint for the day. In the afternoon, the artists return to the museum with their “wet paintings” to have them judged by a panel of guest judges to select the works that will be a part of the silent auction from 4- 6 p.m. and a live auction at 6 p.m.

Family art activities will be happening in front of the Museum on Main from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will be trying their hand at watercolor, chalk art and face painting. There will be no charge for these activities.

9th Annual Livermore Relay for Life
One Day! One Night! One Community! One Fight!
Come join us at the 9th annual Livermore Relay For Life!!!

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's flagship annual fundraiser. Relays take place all over the country, and for the eighth consecutive year, Livermore will have its own Relay. It's an incredible event – Livermore has raised over $1.5 million for cancer research! But it's much more than just a fundraiser – it’s an amazing bonding experience. Virtually everyone has been touched, directly or indirectly, by cancer and a very important part of this event is celebrating cancer survivors and remembering those who have lost their battle with cancer. Many cancer patients look forward to this event all year long and we make this as special as possible for them. This will be the second year that we are recognizing Care Givers as an important part of a cancer patients’ life and invite all Care Givers to join us to Celebrate, Remember & Fight Back!

This is a 24-hour event, starting at 9am on Saturday, June 26th and ending at 9am on Sunday, June 27th, on the track at Livermore High School. Not only is this a great fundraiser; it’s also lots of FUN! Teams are formed to raise funds and take turns walking laps. They set up a tent and camp out at the event. The relationships that develop during this time are impressive. There are prizes for tent decoration, themed laps, and most money raised. You’ll also enjoy live entertainment, a variety of games and activities, silent auctions, kid’s camp, great food and of course lots and lots of FUN!!! Many charity walks are geared towards adults only, but Relay For Life is a very kid friendly, family event where all are welcome.

We are in need of additional volunteers on Friday, June 25th with setup, Saturday, June 26th with many different jobs and Sunday morning, June 27th with the take down of the event. If you are willing to volunteer any time you can it would be appreciated. If you are interested please contact Jacky Poulsen at (925) 455-0542.

For questions, please contact us at livermorerfl@yahoo.com. You may also find information or register at www.LivermoreRelayForLife.com.
