Spring storytime season is underway at the Livermore Public Library. Though the Civic Center library will be closed for moving April 19-May 16, families are invited to take part in weekly storytimes Thursday mornings at 10:30 at the Springtown Branch, 998 Bluebell Drive, and Friday mornings at 10:30 (lapsit) and 11 (preschool) at the Rincon Branch, 725 Rincon Avenue. Offers Train Rides through historic Niles Canyon on restored vintage trains, on the original transcontinental Railroad route.  Board the train in Sunol and ride to Fremont (Niles) and back.
April is Wildflower month.  The trains run every week  The 12:00, 1:30, & 3:00 p.m trains will also feature wine tasting.
